The Batgirl Design Process

The new Batgirl design has been often credited to Cameron Stewart OR Babs Tarr but rarely to the both of them. The design process was in fact a collaboration with both artists contributing to the final design.

Forget Everything You Heard About Xbox Entertainment Studios

Wow. The Xbox One hasn’t even been out a full year yet before Microsoft pulls the plug on its exclusive entertainment. That’s, like, 40% of what they kept peddling to convince potential buyers to get their system. FAIL.

Author Spreads Love with THE FIFTH BEATLE - Agents of Geek

I went to NYCC, guys! And I got a face-to-face interview with Vivek J. Tiwary about his new graphic novel. Beatles fans, rejoice!

perilunesky: N7 manicure, eh!

perilunesky:

How to do a very simple N7 manicure.

You’ll need the following:

- Black nail polish. I used Sephora X’s Bad Ass. (Reason = obvious.)
- Bright red nail polish! This is Julep’s Karmen. Very red. Oh dear god bright.
- Striping tape, white or silver (this is what makes it easy)
- A good, quick dry…

Preview Day at NYCC means looking at ALL THE TOYS!

Cool Tumblr Bro: IN RESPONSE TO THIS POST:...

Fellow Woman of Geekdom, Chloe Dykstra, had something to say on what happened in the last episode of Heroes of Cosplay. I know reality TV can skew a lot out of proportion, and often times they do. In reference to the cattiness that happened in the last episode of Heroes of Cosplay, all I can say is that I’ve looked at both sides and I’m just sad people have to turn on each other like this. It’s especially disheartening when it’s centered around a hobby/culture we all love. It further solidifies the concerns some people feel about dressing up at all, let alone subject themselves to ridicule from not only complete strangers, but from fellow enthusiasts who share the same passion and interests. But I guess it really does happen everywhere we go, and we just have to remember to be the bigger person and let the whiners have it out.

I applaud Holly, Jessica, and Chloe for trying to instill the idea of inclusion within the geek and cosplay community because that truly is what we all are about at the end of the day. Or should be, at least.

Also, you don’t make another person cry. When that happens, you just lost, my friend.

What if I told you those judgmental Doctor Who cosplayers were plants? That Syfy told them they needed to cause drama with some of the cast so it would be a more interesting…
